Annual servicing
- All instruments and bows must be serviced annually (like an MOT for your car!)
- Services/general maintenance costs are covered by BMILS (except new strings and bow rehairs)
- Borrowers must have the log in their Loan Pack completed and signed by the approved luthier undertaking the service/work
- Any work other than regular cleaning and servicing must be approved in writing and in advance by BMILS
- Services can be booked directly at BMILS on Mondays, Tuesdays and Saturdays from 09:00 - 16:00
- OR with your approved luthier/repairer as discussed at your trial appointment - please ask for invoices to be sent to us

Annual update
- The Guarantor and Student are required to complete an Annual Update Form every year - this is essential for our records and for keeping our generous instrument lenders informed
- Please complete all sections, and give clear and informative answers
- Forms are available to download as a fillable PDF - see to the right

Change of address or contact details
- It is vital that you keep the Loan Scheme fully informed of all changes promptly
- Failure to inform BMILS of your change of address or contact details is a breach of the Terms and Conditions
